Does having two free periods look bad on a college application?
I am taking:
– Human Anatomy & Physiology (Honors)
– Pre-Calculus (Honors)
– AP US Government & Politics
– English (Regular)
I have two free periods but some people tell me that those are too much for my senior year. Is this too much?

If you can add a class that you enjoy and can handle, it would be good to do so. It is more important to not just focus on your classes but also other aspects of your college application (as I discuss on my website: http://p3getaccepted.com). You have some hard classes, so make sure you don’t take anything that you can’t handle. It is better to take less classes and excel everywhere, than to just take a lot of classes and not do so well.
