By diagnosing Chicken pox early on, it prevents other children from contracting chicken pox. This will prevents other children taking time off school as Chickenpox can spread quite fast amongst children. The child can be taken to the doctor so they can be diagnosed with Chickenpox and the parents can give the child Calpol and make sure the child drinks a lot of fluids. Once a child has been contracted with Chickenpox they will not get it again.

However, some children will find it hard not to scratch the spots and then can be left with a scar in the shape of the spot. With Chicken pox children will have to be kept inside to stop the virus from spreading around other children and they may feel bored staying in the house.
