Why do vets make less money than dentists and MDs because I feel it's not fair?

Vet school is more competitive and vets study the anatomy of many animals while MDs study only human anatomy which is less complicated than animal anatomy. Why should a dentist make more money than vets that do everything from surgery to teth work.
