Blog instructions part one

BLOG INSTRUCTIONS PART ONE

1. Go to wordpress.com
2. Click on get started
3. Choose start with a blog
4. Choose a theme –click skip for now
5. Create your address –this must be yourname1 –so for me my address would be kathydavison1

If your address is not available then add the word blog and it will become yourname1blog

• Choose the free option
• Create your account- input your Serc email address and choose a user name and password

NB please write down your user name and password.

You will need this to log into the admin panel of your blog

• Confirm your email address
• Click on mysite –top left
• Scroll down and click on themes [do not click on customize]
• Choose a theme from the free options. When chosen activate theme.
