  Some options :

  — visit a library or bookstore & browse through the many drawing books there. Make a list of the books that you feel comfortable with/interested in. Once you have the tiitle, publication, etc. you can buy online or wherever you get a good deal

  — ask art teachers at school for their recommendations

  — browse through amazon.com & such other book sites for drawing books for beginners. Read their reviews, etc. to get a feel of what others are saying.

  — Visit blogs on drawing & you may find some good support groups, personal experiences, etc.
