in anatomical positiuon, the face and palms are on the ANTERIOR body surface, the buttocks and should blades are on the POSTERIOR body surface, and the top of the head if the most superior part of the body. The ears are SUPERIOR to the shoulders and INFERIOR to the nose. The heart is MEDIAL to the spine and LATERAL to the lungs. The elbow is DISTAL to the fingers but PROXIMAL to the shoulder. In humans, the dorsal surface can also be called the POSTERIOR surface; however, in four-legged animals, the dorsal surface is the POSTERIOR surface.

In an incision cuts the heart into right and left parts, the section is a SAGITTAL sections, but if the heart is cut so that anterior and posterior parts result, the section is a FRONTAL blank section. You are told to cut an animal along two planes so that the paired kidneys are observable in both sections. The two sections that meet this requirement are the TRANSVERSE and FRONTAL sections.

i think these are right. they should be correct like i took my anatomy final a week ago and got an a- on it, this is pretty basic stuff, like stuff covered in the first week. its pretty easy to figure out, using latin roots or english roots for that matter. good luck with the rest of the course, i really enjoyed it
